Solar Installer

A solar installer fits solar panels on roofs and connects them to electrical systems. They must work safely at height and understand how the panels produce electricity. Installers also check that the system works properly before it is switched on.

Solar installers often climb ladders and roofs, so safety training and harnesses are a key part of the job. Their work helps households save money on electricity.
