Today, children dress in costumes, carve pumpkins into jack-o'-lanterns and go trick-or-treating, asking neighbours for sweets. Halloween parties often include games, spooky decorations and stories.
Halloween is especially popular in the United States, the United Kingdom and Ireland. Many people decorate their homes with spooky lights, cobwebs and skeletons, and families enjoy scary stories and parties.
