Helping Neighbours

Helping neighbours can mean carrying shopping, watering plants or keeping an eye on pets while they are away. Good neighbours look out for each other, especially those who are older or who need extra help. Small kindnesses can build a friendly community.

Some communities have neighbourhood schemes where people take turns helping one another. Being a helpful neighbour makes the area a nicer place to live for everyone.
