Dividing Decimals

All about Dividing Decimals
To divide by a decimal, make the divisor a whole number by moving the decimal point to the right. Move the decimal point in the dividend the same number of places.
For example, 6 ÷ 0. 5 becomes 60 ÷ 5, which is 12. Dividing by a decimal less than one gives an answer that is bigger than the number you started with.
