Boccia

Boccia is a precision sport similar to bowls. Players throw or roll leather balls as close as possible to a target ball called the jack. It is played by athletes with a wide range of disabilities, and it can be played sitting or standing.

Boccia has been part of the Paralympic Games since 1984. It requires careful control and planning, because each throw must be placed carefully.
