Computer Fonts

A font is a set of letters, numbers and symbols with a particular design. Serif fonts have small lines at the ends of the letters, while sans-serif fonts do not. Choosing the right font helps make text easy and pleasant to read.

The word font comes from an old term for a set of metal type used in printing. Today, fonts are digital files that can be used on computers and phones.
