Computer Networks

A computer network links devices together so they can share files, printers and internet access. Networks can be wired with cables or wireless using Wi-Fi. The devices on a network communicate by sending data along the connections.

The first computer networks were set up in the 1960s to let scientists share information. Today, networks link billions of devices around the world, forming the internet.
