Capoeira

Capoeira is a Brazilian art form that combines martial arts, dance and music. Participants form a circle called a roda, and they move, play instruments and sing together. Capoeira was developed in Brazil by enslaved Africans and has been practised for centuries.

In capoeira, players take turns moving in the middle of the circle, using kicks, acrobatic moves and flowing steps. The music and rhythm guide the movements.
