Tango

Tango is a passionate dance that began in the working-class neighbourhoods of Buenos Aires, Argentina. Couples move closely together in a dance full of expression and drama. The music is played on instruments such as the bandoneon, an accordion-like instrument.

The tango was once controversial in some places, but it became a popular ballroom dance around the world. Tango is now enjoyed by dancers of all ages.
