Hypothermia

Hypothermia happens when your body loses heat faster than it can make it, so your core temperature drops too low. Signs include shivering, tiredness, confusion and slurred speech. It can happen even in mild weather if you get wet and stay cold for a long time.

If someone may have hypothermia, get them somewhere warm and dry, and call for help. Remove wet clothes and wrap them in blankets.
