Air Quality Monitoring

Air quality monitoring measures pollutants in the air, such as dust, smoke and gases. The results help councils and people decide when to take care outdoors. Monitors are placed in busy streets, parks and near factories.

Air quality monitors can show how pollution changes during the day, often peaking during rush hour. Checking air quality forecasts can help people with asthma plan their activities.
