Rewilding

Rewilding means restoring natural habitats and bringing back native plants and animals. It helps ecosystems become healthier and more balanced over time. Rewilding projects often let nature take the lead, rather than controlling every change.

Beavers are sometimes reintroduced to rewilded areas because they create wetlands that help many other species. Their dams slow the flow of water and create new habitats.
