Rabbits

Rabbits are small mammals with long ears and strong back legs for jumping. They eat grass, leaves and plants, and they have excellent eyesight that helps them spot danger. Their eyes are set on the sides of their head, so they can see almost all the way around.

Rabbits live in groups called warrens, which are networks of burrows dug in the ground. They are mostly active at dawn and dusk. Rabbits communicate with each other by thumping their back feet on the ground to warn of danger.
