Sloths

Sloths are slow-moving mammals that live mostly in trees in Central and South America. They hang upside down from branches and eat leaves, which give them very little energy. Their slow pace helps them save energy.

Sloths move so slowly that algae can grow on their fur, which helps them blend in with the leaves. They come down from the trees only about once a week to go to the toilet.
